Stephanie Sommerfeld

Stephanie Sommerfeld teaches American Studies at Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg and Georg-August-Universität Göttingen. She completed her studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and Georg-August-Universität Göttingen and is writing her dissertation about sublimity and media agency in the texts of Edgar Allan Poe and Dave Eggers. She is the co-ordinator of the organizing comittee for the DIVERSITAS Summer School 2013 and has published on the sublime, on postirony, on remediation, and teaching drama.
