Prof. Dr. Brigitta Busch

Brigitta Busch is Berta-Karlik Professor of Applied Linguistics at the University of Vienna. From 1999 to 2003 she was Head of the Centre for Intercultural Studies at the University of Klagenfurt. She was involved as part of the Council of Europe's Confidence-Building Measures Programme in a number of intercultural projects in Eastern and South-Eastern Europe. Since 2001 she has cooperated closely in research projects and teaching with PRAESA, University of Cape Town. She has published widely on questions of multilingualism and is currently focusing on biographic approaches in applied linguistics.
