Prof. Dr. Renu Modi

Renu Modi is senior lecturer and former director of the Centre for African Studies at the University of Mumbai. Her research interests include international relations (with a special focus on Indian-South African relations), urban development and human rights. She is currently involved in a major research project on “Social Impact Assessment and Adaptation to Climate Change and Displacement: A case Study from India and East Africa.” The project is funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR).
